Since 2002, Sabancı Graduate Business School has aimed to foster internationally respected academicians who can offer research-oriented solutions to current business problems.

The Istanbul Policy Center-Sabancı University-Stiftung Mercator Initiative and SU Gender are organizing an event entitled “The Istanbul Convention: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.” The event will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, from 16:00 to 18:45 on the 2nd floor of Minerva Han Karaköy.

The fourth guest of the seminar series emphasizing Sabancı University’s new undergraduate program “Data Science and Analytics” and the interdisciplinary qualities of the program will be Selçuk Artut, Lecturer at Sabancı University Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

The launch ceremony of the ISO (Istanbul Chamber of Industry) Academy was held on November 14. One of the most interesting parts of the ceremony was the “Education Strategies for the Future” panel moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ecmel Ayral. Sabancı University Secretary General Ali Çalışkan, also participated in the panel.

The Purple Certificate Program awards, conducted by Sabancı University Gender and Women's Studies Center of Excellence (SU Gender) with the support of the Sabancı Foundation, will be given this year on November 23.  

Sabancı University faculty member, Assist. Prof. Dr. Yoong Wah Alex Wong and FASS/VAVCD students, Ali Özgün Akyüz and Ayşe Beraa Özcan attended the Shanghai International Photo Festival (8-23 November 2024) and Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair (7-11 November 2024).

Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center (SUNUM) officially submitted the " Teaming For Capacity Development And Synergies In Micro-Nanofabrication And Flexible Electronics For Widespread Impact TeamNANO " project, with a notable budget of 9 million Euros, following the signing ceremony on November 6, 2024.

Prof. Servet Turan, from Eskişehir Technical University, President of the Turkish Electron Microscopy Society, R&D Coordinator and Chairman of the Board of the Ceramic Research Center, will be the guest at the Nano Open Webinar on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 between 11.00-12.00 at Zoom.

The project entitled “AquaCav: Clean Water Using the Power of Cavitation Bubbles”, of which FENS and EFSUN researcher Dr. Morteza Ghorbani is the principal investigator, is funded by the British Council under the International Science Partnership Fund (ISPF) Research Collaboration Grant Scheme.

The second of the conference series organized to introduce Sabancı University's new undergraduate program "Data Science and Analytics" was held on November 6, 2024, on the university's Tuzla Campus. The second guest of the conference series was SAP Turkey's Managing Director Uğur Candan.
