Sabancı University MBA program is a full-time program welcoming students without prior work experience and hands on training program offering Company Action Projects in top multinational and local companies in Turkey during their education.

Program offers an international environment in our class and exchange programs abroad during summer term.

A brief presentation on the MBA Admissions process and scholarship opportunities will be available to students from all around the world.

Sabancı University has signed a project contract within the scope of the National Space Program

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced the 10 goals of Turkey’s National Space Program (NSP) for the following 10 years at the NPS ceremony held on February 9, 2021. In this ceremony, it was highlighted that Turkey's National Space Program could only be realized with the cooperation of universities and the public and private sectors, and protocols and agreements were signed for 4 major projects that will contribute to the achievement of the stated goals.  

Sabancı University President Yusuf Leblebici signed the contract for the project designed by  the Turkish Space Agency, TUBITAK Space, and Sabancı University named  "Enhanced X-Ray Timing and Polarimetry Satellite Wide Area Monitoring Application Software” at the ceremony held within the scope of the National Space Program. 

In the other three projects initiated to contribute to achieving the Turkish National Space Program’s 10 goals within 10 years: 

  • The "Protocol on the Establishment of National Satellite Manufacturing Company” was signed by Turkish Aerospace, Türksat and TÜBİTAK Space under the coordination of the Turkish Space Agency. 

  • The “Scientific and Technological Collaboration in Aviation and Space Technologies Protocol" was signed by the Turkish Space Agency and Istanbul Technical University. 

  • The “Joint R&D and Technology Development Studies and Collaboration Protocol in the Space Technology Development Zone to be Established” was signed by the Turkish Space Agency, METU and METU Technopark. 

The ceremony held in the scope of the Turkish National Space Program took place with the participation of the President of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, Turkey Space Agency President Serdar Huseyin Yildirim, President of TÜBİTAK Hasan Mandal, TAI General Manager Temel Kotil, Turksat Director General Hassan Hussein Ertok, TUBITAK Space Institute Director Massoud Gökten, Sabancı University President Yusuf Leblebici, Istanbul Technical University President İsmail Koyuncu, Middle East Technical University President Mustafa Verşan Kök, and METU Teknokent General Manager Serdar Alemdar.

Emerging Topics in Artificial Intelligence (ETAI) 2021 conference provides a forum for a highly interdisciplinary community combining artificial intelligence with photonics, microscopy, active matter, biomedicine, and brain connectivity.

Emerging Topics in Artificial Intelligence (ETAI) 2021 conference provides a forum for a highly interdisciplinary community combining artificial intelligence with photonics, microscopy, active matter, biomedicine, and brain connectivity. By bringing experts from different fields and backgrounds together, ETAI provides new fundamental insights and identifies technological applications as well as commercialization opportunities. The topics covered in ETAI include but are not limited to: Artificial intelligence for photonics, microscopy, optical trapping, soft and active matter, precision medicine, adaptive control biomimetic.

Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Member Meltem Elitaş is among the program committee, among conference chairs Giovanni Volpe and Aydogan Ozcan enrolls as leading scientist in the field. 

The conference will be held 1-5 August in San Diego, CA, USA.

Eaquals has certified Sabancı University’s excellence in language education

Sabancı University School of Languages has been accredited by one of the most renowned international quality assurance and accreditation bodies in language education, Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality Language Services (Eaquals) whose mission is based on excellence in language education.

Sabancı University School of Languages has had a very successful partnership for 12 years, actively contributing to a wide range of professional and academic projects. In line with the ever-growing importance on quality in education both locally and globally, in early 2020, the School of Languages started its work towards becoming an accredited member of Eaquals and applied for membership in October 2020. After undergoing a highly demanding inspection process in December 2020, the School of Languages received its certification as an Eaquals accredited member with outstanding success.After undergoing a highly demanding inspection process in December 2020, the School of Languages received its certification as an Eaquals accredited member with points of excellence in all 12 categories of quality standards. School of Languages Director, Jacqueline Einer shares her views on the accreditation process:

We wanted to certify the quality of our program and to enhance our international recognition by receiving the highly-respected Eaquals badge of excellence. The process was quite challenging as we were also going through the pandemic period, but it was also highly equally rewarding in terms of self-assessment, internal collaboration and institutional development. We are absolutely delighted and proud to have received an outstanding result with points of excellence in all twelve categories of the accreditation scheme for language institutions in Higher Education. We are very much looking forward to contributing to the Eaquals mission as an accredited member and to furthering our mutual collaboration.

2020-2021 Academic Year Spring Term Special Student Applications

Students who students enrolled at universities other than Sabancı University can apply to the courses offered by Sabancı University to participate as special students.

 

·  To be registered as a student in a higher education institution to be able to take a course from undergraduate level,

·  To be able to take a course from graduate level, it is necessary to be a student enrolled in a master, doctorate or proficiency in art program in a higher education institution

Nur Mustafaoğlu will serve as an editor in Micromachines Journal’s special issue

Sabancı University Faculty of Engineering an Natural Sciences member Nur Mustafaoğlu is serving as one of the topic editors of MDPI journal “Micromachines” for two years. She is organizing a Special Issue as part of her duty. 

Nur Mustafaoğlu will closely work with the leading guest editors of Turkey and Japan in the field and handle peer-review processes of the submitted manuscripts on "3D in Vitro Tissue and Organ Models" topic.
