Sabancı University will be seeing off its 13th undergraduate and 10th graduate classes at the commencement ceremony to be held on Saturday, June 23rd, 2012.
As a signature event in commencement activities, a Closing Lecture will be given to the commencement class on the day before the ceremony. This year’s closing lecture will take place on Friday, June 22nd, and will be given by Şafak Pavey, Deputy of Istanbul of the Republican People’s Party.
Board of Trustees Chair Güler Sabancı and President A. Nihat Berker will also attend the Commencement Ceremony, where awards endowed in honor of Gürsel Sönmez, a member of Sabancı University faculty who passed away in 2006, will be given.
Following the hat-toss, the night will ignite with live music by Ayhan Sicimoğlu.
