Sabancı University Gender and Women's Studies Center of Excellence (SU Gender) has published the call for the 3rd International Gender Studies in Turkey Conference, which will be held on December 6–7, 2025.
The conference aims to create a platform where current research on Turkey and in the field of gender in Turkey will be presented and discussed, and where researchers will come together at regular intervals.
The International Gender Studies Conference aims to address the leading issues in gender studies on an interdisciplinary and intersectional basis. It aims to make visible the contribution of feminist and queer perspectives, theories, and methods to knowledge and policy production in today's world where social inequalities are increasing.
Those who wish to participate in the conference with a paper can send their abstracts and short CVs to genderconf@sabanciuniv.edu. The deadline for abstract submissions is August 4, 2025.
A limited number of workshop proposals will be accepted, provided that they are related to the theme of the conference. It is possible to apply to organize a workshop for conference participants by filling out the relevant form.
